Trump Says U.S. Hit Iran 'Very Hard Again' After Troop Deaths
President Donald Trump said the United States hit Iran very hard again during the ninth consecutive night of U.S. strikes. Speaking after the World Cup final, he said Iran had lost almost everything militarily, retained some missiles and drones, and had little manufacturing capacity left. Trump said the United States controlled the Strait of Hormuz and that the attack honored three American service members killed in Jordan and northern Iraq. CENTCOM separately said the completed overnight operation targeted Iranian command, air-defense, coastal-surveillance, maritime, missile, drone and communications capabilities.
