Bahrain Sounds Overnight Siren and Directs Residents to Shelter
Bahrain's Interior Ministry sounded an overnight siren at 12:06 a.m. local and Israel time. It told citizens and residents to remain calm, move to the nearest safe place and follow official channels. A Hebrew-language breaking report published at 12:09 a.m. independently confirmed that alarms had been activated in the kingdom. Neither the official notice nor the initial report identified the threat, said whether air defenses had engaged it, or reported an impact, damage or casualties. The first notices also gave no all-clear or timetable for leaving shelter.
