U.S. Military Identifies Two Soldiers Killed in Iranian Attack on Jordan
The U.S. military identified 1st Lt. Tyler James Feehan, 25, of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, and Pvt. Isabella Gonzales, 19, of Carrollton, Texas, as the two soldiers killed after Iran attacked Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan. The Defense Department said Feehan died July 18 and Gonzales on July 17, while both were supporting Operation Inherent Resolve. Feehan served with the 2nd Battalion, 55th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, and Gonzales with the 1st Battalion, 57th Air Defense Artillery Regiment. The July 17 enemy attack remains under investigation.
