Pentagon Says Nearly 100 Troops Were Injured in Iranian Strikes Since July 7

The Pentagon said nearly 100 U.S. service members were injured in Iranian strikes on American bases across the Middle East since July 7. Chief Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell said 96% have returned to duty and that most injuries were minor concussions. The disclosure follows repeated Iranian attacks on regional bases during renewed fighting with the United States. Defense casualty records had not yet incorporated the latest attacks, while separate strikes in Jordan killed two American soldiers and left remains under examination for a missing third service member.
