Democrats Primary Draws 97,097 Voters as Party Announces Knesset Slate

The Democrats announced its slate for the 26th Knesset after 97,097 members cast ballots, an 86.2% turnout. Party leader Yair Golan heads the list, followed by MKs Naama Lazimi, Gilad Kariv and Efrat Rayten, with activist Yaya Fink fifth. Voting was conducted digitally among 51 candidates, with each member choosing six to eight names. The results were unveiled at a campaign launch at Hangar 11 in Tel Aviv ahead of the October 27 national election; the new slate is due to hold its first meeting Tuesday.
