IRGC Claims New Strike on U.S.-Used Kuwait Air Base
Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claimed that a new strike hit Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait, which hosts U.S. forces. The IRGC said an American early-warning radar, a shed holding aviation equipment and parts, and a hangar used for MQ-9 drones were struck. The statement framed the alleged operation as retaliation for continued U.S. strikes on Iran. A contemporaneous Hebrew report also relayed the Iranian claim that the base had been attacked. Neither cited source included independent Kuwaiti or American confirmation of the claimed damage, casualties or operational disruption.
