Bahrain Says Iranian Drones Targeted Civil Air Navigation Systems

Bahrain's Civil Aviation Affairs said Iranian drones targeted civil air navigation systems serving the Bahrain Flight Information Region on Monday. The authority described the targeting as a hostile Iranian act against the kingdom and said the systems support traffic across the country's flight-information region. It reported that air navigation operations were not affected and that scheduled flights and wider air traffic continued normally. The statement said the targeting caused no operational disruption across Bahrain's civilian aviation network, despite the attack on systems serving the region.
