IRGC Claims Ballistic Missiles Hit U.S. Aircraft at Aqaba Airport

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said its Aerospace Force targeted U.S. C-17 transport planes and P-8 command-and-control aircraft at Aqaba Airport in Jordan with ballistic missiles. The IRGC claimed several aircraft sustained heavy damage during the 21st wave of Operation Nasr 2, but offered no independently verified damage evidence. Iranian state media relayed the claim, and the first Reuters-supplied Hebrew report said the Guard announced an attack on the airport. Jordanian or U.S. authorities had not immediately confirmed aircraft damage, casualties or operational disruption at the airport.
