Solaer Signs $38 Million EPC Deal for Chile Solar-Storage Project
Israeli renewable-energy company Solaer disclosed that its Chilean project company signed a binding EPC agreement with Moreau Ingeniería y Construcción for the Cachiyuyo project. The approximately $38 million contract covers a 53-megawatt solar plant paired with 240 megawatt-hours of battery storage in Chile's Atacama Region. Mechanical completion is forecast for the fourth quarter of 2027. Solaer estimates annual revenue of about $8 million and annual EBITDA of about $6.5 million, while its 47.4%-held project company remains in advanced talks with a leading European bank for senior financing.
