Veteran Likud Activist Billy Rubin Joins Yisrael Beiteinu
Veteran Likud activist and construction executive Billy Rubin announced that she is leaving the party after 23 years and joining Avigdor Liberman's Yisrael Beiteinu. Rubin served on the Likud's Ramat Aviv branch council and has more than 17 years of experience managing construction projects. She said housing policy will be her professional focus, citing regulatory barriers that raise apartment costs for contractors, workers and buyers. Rubin said she will work to expand housing supply and prioritize military service members and others who contribute to the state, and endorsed Liberman as her choice for prime minister.
