Yesh Atid MK Yoav Segalovich submitted his resignation letter Sunday to Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana; it will take effect after 48 hours. Segalovich, a lawmaker since 2019 and a former deputy public security minister, said he intends to continue public work in another way to help improve Israel’s security and social conditions. Michal Slawny Cababia, number 30 on Yesh Atid’s 2022 slate and a former World Zionist Organization representative in North America, is expected to take his seat. Reports say talks over a possible move to Ra’am remain open and no agreement has been reached.
