The Pentagon identified Sgt. Angel S. Rampersad, 28, of Ozone Park, New York, as the third U.S. soldier believed killed in Iran's July 17 missile and drone attack on Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan. Rampersad had been listed missing; the military changed the status to Duty Status-Whereabouts Unknown and believed deceased. Rampersad served with the 1st Battalion, 57th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, under the 10th Army Air and Missile Defense Command in Germany.
