Trump Threatens Iranian Infrastructure Over Hormuz Ship Attacks

U.S. President Donald Trump said the United States will destroy one Iranian bridge or power plant every time Iran attacks a ship in the Strait of Hormuz with a missile, rocket, drone or other weapon. He said potential targets include infrastructure next to or inside Tehran. The warning came after another night of U.S. strikes on Iran, while the waterway remained largely closed because of Iranian attacks. The strait carried about one-fifth of the world's traded oil and gas in peacetime, and its disruption has driven wider regional and economic pressure.
