Netanyahu Blocks Menachem Begin's Grandson After Online Criticism

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu blocked Avindav Begin, grandson of former prime minister and Likud founder Menachem Begin, on X after Begin criticized Netanyahu's remarks about examining internal betrayal surrounding October 7. Begin posted a screenshot showing that Netanyahu's account had blocked him from viewing posts or following the account. He said the block came on the eve of Tisha B'Av and that a warning letter would be sent Sunday unless it was removed. The dispute unfolded as Netanyahu separately called for deeper national unity in a Tisha B'Av message.
