Toronto Man Charged With Terrorism Over Alleged Hamas Support

Canadian authorities charged Toronto resident Ahmad Hassan Hajahmad, 33, with participating in or contributing to the activities of Hamas, a designated terrorist organization. Police allege he used amplification equipment at two public demonstrations in 2024 to promote hatred against Jewish and Israeli communities and encourage harm against them. Investigators seized electronic devices from his home and say the evidence indicates he acted for Hamas's benefit and in association with the group. His lawyer denies any Hamas connection; the allegations have not been proven in court.
