U.S. Officials Reveal B-1 Bomber Struck IRGC Targets in Iran

U.S. officials said the military used a long-range B-1 bomber on Tuesday to strike Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps targets inside Iran. The mission was the first B-1 operation since fighting resumed 12 days earlier, marking renewed use of the supersonic bomber in the campaign. The aircraft launched from a British air base and appeared on public flight-tracking services. CENTCOM did not identify the bomber in its Tuesday release, which said U.S. assets struck Iranian military operations centers, maritime capabilities, aircraft hangars, drone storage facilities and military logistics infrastructure; officials did not disclose which sites the B-1 attacked.
