Israel’s Regulated Gasoline Price Jumps 61 Agorot to NIS 8.09

Israel's maximum regulated price for self-service 95-octane gasoline will rise by 61 agorot to NIS 8.09 per liter at midnight between Saturday and Sunday, August 2. The Energy Ministry's Fuel and Gas Administration said the full-service surcharge will remain 25 agorot per liter. Director Bat Sheva Abu-Hatzira attributed the increase to a roughly 22% rise in international gasoline prices and a 1.9% strengthening of the dollar. In Eilat, where VAT is not charged, the self-service ceiling will rise 51 agorot to NIS 6.85 per liter, while the full-service surcharge remains 21 agorot.
