Jordanian air defenses and Royal Jordanian Air Force aircraft intercepted and shot down seven missiles and six drones launched from Iran toward the kingdom on Friday, the Jordan Armed Forces said. The military reported no casualties or material damage from the attack or the interceptions. Royal Engineering Corps teams were dispatched immediately to sites where debris fell and handled the remnants under established technical and security procedures. The armed forces said they were continuing to monitor Jordanian airspace at the highest level of operational readiness to respond to threats against the kingdom and its citizens.
