Magen David Adom said its Ayalon dispatch center received a report at 4:07 p.m. of an unconscious man with signs of heatstroke near a public park in Bat Yam. EMTs and paramedics found the man, about 80 years old, without a pulse and not breathing. They began resuscitation but ultimately pronounced him dead at the scene. MDA's initial notice did not identify the man or provide additional details about how long he had been exposed to the heat before emergency crews arrived.
