A woman around 50 was seriously injured Saturday after her car fell from a bridge near Tel Aviv’s Hashalom Interchange and overturned on the Ayalon Highway. Magen David Adom paramedic Elhanan Alon and emergency medics Moti Baer and Yoni Friedman found the vehicle upside down with the driver inside, semi-conscious and suffering a severe head injury. The team carried out a complex rescue while immobilizing and treating her. MDA then evacuated her in an intensive-care ambulance to Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv, where her condition was reported as serious.
