Netanyahu Backs Flávio Bolsonaro at Brazil Presidential Launch

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sent a video supporting Brazilian Senator Flávio Bolsonaro as the Liberal Party formally launched his presidential campaign at its national convention in São Paulo. Netanyahu congratulated Bolsonaro on the official launch, called him a champion of Brazil and of friendship between their peoples, and said he would take Brazil higher. Argentine President Javier Milei attended in person. Bolsonaro will challenge President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva in October; he has said he would deepen Brazil-Israel ties and move Brazil's embassy to Jerusalem if elected.
