Jordan’s official news agency said Royal Jordanian Air Force aircraft intercepted and downed two drones that breached the kingdom’s airspace from Iranian territory Monday morning. The military said no casualties or material damage resulted, and Royal Engineering Corps teams handled debris across several locations. Other reports said the military did not identify who launched the aircraft, and no group had claimed the attack. Jordan said its armed forces remain at high operational readiness to protect the kingdom’s airspace and citizens.
