Global oil prices fell sharply in early Monday trading after the United States and Iran went a second day without attacks, easing immediate fears of a wider regional escalation. At 1:04 a.m. Israel time, Brent was down 5.77% at $91.20 a barrel and West Texas Intermediate was down 5.50% at $84.40. A later snapshot put Brent down 6.10% and WTI down 5.92%. The Strait of Hormuz remains heavily disrupted, while threats around the Red Sea continue to leave energy supplies exposed to renewed conflict.
