Ukraine Accepts Sa’ar Invitation After Talks on Iran and Black Sea Security

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha accepted an invitation from Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar after the two held talks on challenges facing both countries, including the threat from Iran. Sybiha said he briefed Sa’ar on Russia’s escalating attacks against civilian vessels and freedom of navigation in the Black Sea, and on the consequences for global food security, including Israel’s reliance on imports. Sa’ar said he expressed sorrow over Ukraine’s wartime losses, while Sybiha thanked him and confirmed that the invitation was accepted.
