Israel Turns Hotter and Drier Wednesday as Heat Loads Intensify

Temperatures are forecast to rise again across Israel on Wednesday, with hotter-than-usual, dry conditions in the hills and inland areas after morning cloud clears. The coastal plain will remain humid, and heat loads will intensify. Forecast highs include 40°C in Eilat, 38°C in Beit She'an and Ein Gedi, 35°C in Nazareth and Afula, and 30°C in Jerusalem. A further rise is expected Thursday, bringing hot to sharav conditions inland and heavy to extreme heat loads across most of the country.
