Iranian Army Claims Drone Strike on U.S. Sheikh Isa Air Base

Iran’s army said it launched attack drones at the U.S.-used Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain in the 26th phase of Operation Thunder. The military said it targeted power generators, navigation systems and administrative support buildings, but no independent confirmation of damage was immediately available. It described the operation as retaliation for the death of Brig. Gen. Majid Kazemi, an Iranian Su-24 pilot killed during U.S. and Israeli attacks. The announcement identified Sheikh Isa as a U.S. reconnaissance, maintenance and logistics hub in the Persian Gulf.
