Netanyahu Says Evangelicals and Jews Face a Joint Attack

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife, Sara, met Evangelical community leaders in Washington on Wednesday. He thanked them for their steadfast support for Israel and said Jews and Evangelicals face a joint attack from rising antisemitism and anti-Evangelicalism. Netanyahu described Jews as descendants of the original Hebrews of the Holy Land and said the shared Judeo-Christian heritage gave the world freedom and faith. He urged the leaders to stand up rather than cower when attacked and expressed gratitude for the constancy of their friendship.
