U.S. Opens New Strike Wave Against Iran

The U.S. military began conducting airstrikes in Iran early Thursday, a U.S. official said. The operation was first reported at 2:11 a.m. Israel time in English and was repeated in Hebrew one minute later. A separate breaking-news report followed at 2:32 a.m. Israel time, likewise attributing confirmation to a U.S. official. No target list, aircraft types, weapons, damage assessment or intended duration had been disclosed in the initial reports, and the U.S. military had not yet issued a public operational statement.
