A drone strike with a guided missile hit the Al-Aqida neighborhood of Nabatieh al-Fawqa in southern Lebanon on Saturday afternoon, according to initial Lebanese reports. The first casualty notice said two people were wounded. Two other reports, including a Hebrew account, also confirmed the strike, but their initial notices did not identify the target or provide casualty details. Israeli authorities had not immediately issued a statement confirming the operation or its objective. The notices appeared between 5:00 and 5:17 p.m. local time on August 1.
