Iranian Regime Insiders Threaten Israeli and Gulf Infrastructure

Mohammad Marandi, a former senior adviser to Iran's late supreme leader and a figure close to the regime, warned that Israeli and Gulf critical infrastructure would be destroyed if strikes hit Iran's civilian infrastructure. He said residents of Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, the UAE, Oman and possibly Jordan should prepare to evacuate. Iranian commander Ali Abdollahi separately warned that regional states serving as a shield for the United States would burn in the fire of war. The threats came as Washington weighed renewed strikes and Israel said it had not been asked to join a new operation.
