Iran Executes Two Men Accused of Passing Military Coordinates to Israel

Iran's judiciary said it executed Omid Behzad and Pouria Safout before dawn after convicting them of spying and intelligence cooperation with Israel. Authorities accused Behzad of sending coordinates and information about military, police and security sites to a Telegram channel they linked to Mossad. They alleged Safout sent images and coordinates of military and air-defense sites to Iran International and sometimes contacted Mossad directly. The judiciary said the Supreme Court upheld the sentences, but its account of the evidence and confessions could not be independently verified.
