Police Arrest Jericho Suspect Over Hamas Praise and Anti-IDF Incitement

Israeli police, Border Police and IDF forces arrested a 39-year-old Jericho resident suspected of systematically posting praise for Hamas and incitement against Israel and IDF soldiers. Police said focused online intelligence work by the Gilead anti-crime unit documented evidence across several social-media accounts. Officers located the suspect hiding in bushes near his home during an overnight operation and transferred him to the Ma'ale Adumim police station for questioning. Police also said he is affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood in northern Gaza and connected to Hamas operatives in the Strip.
