IDF Launches Arrest Operation in Jenin After Israeli Mother and Son Stoned

IDF forces began an operation to arrest wanted suspects in the Jenin area on Thursday after an Israeli woman and her son mistakenly drove into the city while en route to Afula. Terrorists hurled a brick and stones at their car as dozens of Palestinians converged on it, shattering the rear window, while onlookers cheered the assailants rather than intervening. Troops were scrambled to secure the pair's escape route, and they linked up with an IDF force at the Gilboa crossing; neither was hurt. The military said entry into Area A is prohibited and dangerous for Israelis.
