Hezbollah launched an explosive drone at an Israeli force operating in southern Lebanon over the past day, causing no casualties and no damage. The military did not announce the attack, and the decision to withhold it came from the head of Northern Command, Maj. Gen. Rafi Milo. The IDF Spokesperson said the army releases information according to professional considerations and situational assessment, and will not publish details that could harm troops in combat zones. The attack followed Wednesday's deaths of two reservists from the 55th Paratroopers Brigade, Maj. Harel Birenstock and Sgt. Maj. Tamir Vaknin, in a bomb blast at Majdal Zoun, the first Israeli fatalities since the June ceasefire.
