Houthi Attacks on Marib and Hadramout Camps Kill at Least 30 Yemeni Troops

Houthi forces attacked military camps belonging to Yemen's internationally recognized government on Thursday in the provinces of Marib and Hadramout, killing at least 30 troops and wounding at least 50 others, Yemeni government officials said. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to brief the media, and said the death toll could still rise. Yemen's army reported attacks by the Houthis on its camps and said they left dead and wounded among its troops, without providing a figure. The Houthis did not comment on the assaults, but said a statement would be released shortly on a major military operation.
