Houthis Claim Missile and Drone Strikes on Saudi Aramco Sites

Courtroom-sketch editorial illustration of flames and smoke rising beyond an industrial site beside a bright nighttime blast over a road

Yemen's Iran-backed Houthis claimed they launched two large operations against Saudi Aramco-linked facilities in Jizan and Yanbu. Their military statement said the Jizan attack used dozens of ballistic missiles and drones, while the Yanbu operation used ballistic and cruise missiles and drones. The group claimed precise direct hits and said the attacks answered Saudi-led strikes on Hodeidah and Kamaran Island. Greek military officials said a Patriot battery destroyed two ballistic missiles aimed at a Yanbu refinery, while separate reporting verified smoke near the Jizan refinery and Saudi authorities had not confirmed damage.
