ADNOC Says 15 Vessels Attacked in Hormuz, One Crew Member Killed and 20 Injured

The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company said on Friday that 15 of its vessels have been attacked by missiles and drones while transiting the Strait of Hormuz since the start of the conflict, including three this week. The company said the attacks left one crew member dead and 20 injured, and that unprovoked attacks on its people and assets are affecting operations. It said freedom of navigation and the safe passage of commercial shipping must be protected without threat, harassment or attack. The strait, between Iran and Oman, carried roughly a fifth of global oil consumption before the war, and shipping there has been repeatedly disrupted as Iran attacked vessels.
