Police Arrest Suspect After Binyamin Weapons Cache Search Leaves Officers Hurt

Police officers from the Judea and Samaria District's interagency command found a weapons cache during an operation in the Binyamin area, according to a police statement. Police said a suspect at the site attacked the officers, caused injuries and was arrested. Dozens of people then arrived and tried to disrupt the operation and prevent the arrest before fleeing, the statement said. Police bomb-disposal specialists were called to the scene and officers remained there handling the seized weapons; authorities had not immediately identified the suspect, the injured officers or the exact location.
