Elbit Systems Backlog Reaches Record $32 Billion as Quarterly Revenue Rises

Elbit Systems reported a record $32.0 billion order backlog at June 30, up from $30.2 billion after the first quarter. Second-quarter revenue rose to $2.29 billion from $1.97 billion a year earlier, while GAAP net income increased to $173.6 million from $125.7 million. The company said 73 percent of the backlog came from customers outside Israel and that Europe drove most of the quarterly increase. It also reported a continuing material rise in Israeli Defense Ministry demand since the war began, alongside 32 percent growth in land-segment revenue, led partly by ammunition sales in Israel.
