Ra'am chairman Mansour Abbas and former Yesh Atid lawmaker Yoav Segalovitz confirmed that they met Thursday to discuss Segalovitz joining Ra'am's slate for the October 27 election. In a joint statement, they said the conversation took place in a good and positive spirit and that negotiations would continue. Segalovitz, a former deputy public security minister who founded the Lahav 433 police unit, resigned from Yesh Atid days earlier. A recent poll cited by the report projected that adding him could raise Ra'am from five Knesset seats to seven.
