Child Savings Reach NIS 25.4 Billion in National Insurance Report

Israel's National Insurance Institute said NIS 25.4 billion was deposited into Savings for Every Child from its January 2017 launch through 2025, including NIS 17.7 billion from the agency and NIS 7.7 billion from parents. Accumulated gains reached NIS 3.85 billion, while 2025 deposits totaled NIS 3.56 billion. The report counted 3,633,573 active accounts at year-end, with 84% managed by provident funds and 16% by banks. Parents doubled the monthly contribution in 63.2% of funded accounts, and acting director-general Zvika Cohen described the program as an investment in equal opportunity.
