UAE Blames Iran for Drone Attacks on Two Hormuz Tankers

Two ADNOC-owned tankers sustained minor damage in drone attacks while crossing the Strait of Hormuz on Thursday evening, with no injuries reported. The UAE Foreign Ministry accused Iran of carrying out the attacks on the commercial vessels. ADNOC said the crews were safe and the situation was under control, while the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations reported minor damage to two vessels in what appeared to be the same incident. Abu Dhabi demanded that Iran halt the attacks and reopen the strait completely and unconditionally; Tehran had not issued an immediate response when the report was published.
