Israel U16 Men Beat Belgium 85-68, Secure Another Year in Division A

Israel's under-16 men's team defeated Belgium 85-68 in Oradea, Romania, to finish 13th at the FIBA U16 EuroBasket and preserve its Division A place for next summer. Guy Kaplan's side led 24-8 after the first quarter and 46-23 at halftime, then held off Belgium's second-half push for its second straight victory. Maor Sela recorded 27 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Ido Ziv scored 20, Nitzan Klein added 13 and Rotem Ben-David had 9. All Israeli boys' youth teams will compete in Division A next year.
