CENTCOM Trip Map Shades Israel, Gaza and West Bank Together

U.S. Central Command published a map of Adm. Brad Cooper’s 10-day Middle East trip that gives Israel, Gaza and the West Bank the same blue fill while labeling only Israel. White internal lines keep the three outlines visible, and the graphic does not announce a change in U.S. recognition or sovereignty policy. CENTCOM said Cooper visited Bahrain, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and the USS Abraham Lincoln in the Arabian Sea. He met senior civilian and military leaders and visited deployed personnel across a region where CENTCOM says more than 50,000 U.S. service members operate.
