Suspected Forged Ballot Forms Found at Likud Primary Polling Station in Petah Tikva

Likud's legal counsel is examining a suspicion that forged ballot forms were placed at a polling station in the Amishav neighborhood of Petah Tikva during the party's Knesset primary on Monday. The suspicion arose after a man in a blue shirt bearing a Likud inscription left the forms at the station. The forms listed candidates in different positions than the original slips, which could have led voters to select unintended candidates. Once the concern was raised, the man left the site, leaving his personal bag behind. Likud said a complaint will be filed with the Israel Police if the examination confirms forgery; none had been filed as of publication.
