Eisenkot Calls New Likud Knesset Slate ‘the October 7 List,’ Urges Likudniks to Defect

Yashar chairman Gadi Eisenkot wrote on X that Likud's list for the 26th Knesset is in practice the October 7 list, his first response to the finalized slate. He said it carries the same figures who divided Israeli society and led Israel to what he called the gravest disaster since the state's founding, among them five ministers who sat in the cabinet on the eve of the war. Eisenkot accused them of clinging to their seats and legitimizing mass draft evasion during wartime. He told Likud voters fed up with a leadership of lies and corruption that they have a home with his party, 70 days before the October 27 election.
