Gett Launches Hebrew Ride Booking Abroad in More Than 25 Countries, Priced in Shekels

Gett began letting Israelis book urban and intercity rides abroad inside its app in Hebrew, without downloading a local service or registering with a foreign provider. The trial rollout covers more than 25 countries, with planned expansion to over 70 countries and 1,000 cities. Opening the app on landing detects the traveler's location and shows available taxis, private cars, electric vehicles, premium categories and minibuses. Prices are quoted in advance in shekels and charged to the payment method already saved on the account, with no currency conversion, and support is provided in Hebrew. The service runs on the HQ Extend platform, which aggregates local fleets worldwide.
