Silicom Secures $5M-a-Year 5G Edge Networking Design Win

Israeli networking company Silicom said it secured a design win from a new Tier-1 cloud-based cybersecurity customer for a 5G-enabled edge device. The customer placed an initial order and expects additional orders in the near term, with ramp-up planned before the end of 2026. Silicom projects more than $5 million in annual revenue from the device at full ramp-up. CEO Liron Eizenman said integrated cellular connectivity differentiated the solution after months of evaluation. The Kfar Sava company said this is its eighth design win of 2026, equaling its total for all of 2025.
