Poll Puts Eisenkot’s Yashar at 26 Seats, Likud at 20

A new Lazar Research survey puts Gadi Eisenkot’s Yashar at 26 Knesset seats, up three, while Likud falls one to 20. The opposition bloc reaches 60 seats, the coalition bloc 49 and Arab parties 11. Eisenkot leads Benjamin Netanyahu 52%–38% on suitability for prime minister, while Naftali Bennett leads Netanyahu 45%–41%. Lazar Research polled 501 Israeli adults from 3,916 invitations on August 19–20 through Panel4All; the stated maximum sampling error is 4.4%. The survey was completed before the announced Hadash-Ta’al–Balad merger.
