Hamas Pressures Mediators to Accuse Israel of Gaza Ceasefire Violations

Israeli security officials report that Hamas intensified pressure over the weekend on Gaza mediator countries to publicly accuse Israel of violating the ceasefire. Security deliberations assessed two goals: delaying the disarmament Hamas is required to complete and building legitimacy for renewed attacks on IDF forces inside Gaza. The IDF has increased strikes in Gaza in recent days, while Hamas has not directly retaliated. The mediator countries were not identified, and no attributable public statement was cited for the private pressure campaign.
